A Desperate Housewife Gets Engaged

Congratulations are in order for Eva Longoria, the sassy star of Desperate Housewives, and her San Antiono Spur, Tony Parker. They're getting married! Longoria's publicist confirmed to PEOPLE that Parker popped the question yesterday after he flew to LA to surprise his boo after his game. Longoria told Ryan Seacrest that his proposal was "perfect, personal and sweet." PEOPLE reports that the couple plans to wed in France next summer in what they describe as a "big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends."

Ummm...let's place bets, shall we. Who thinks this marriage will last days? weeks? months? or for those romantics out there, years? I don't think they'll even make it to that altar in France next summer, but hey, I'm a cynic. Isn't this the same couple that had a big break-up back in September and then Eva flew to Paris to kiss-and-make-up? And since then, hasn't she's been linked to everyone from George Clooney to Lance Armstrong (spotted just last week arm in arm). Oh well...good luck to them! Oh...and Eva is 31 and Parker is 24. You do the math. And for those keeping track, this would be her second marriage.
