Screen Actors Guild Award Recap

This must be the year of Black and Brown folks, since we are holding it down so lovely at the award shows so far this year.

Congratulations to the big winners from last night's SAG Awards:

Forest Whittaker - Male Actor in a Leading Role - The Last King of Scotland (with his beautiful wife Keisha)

Eddie Murphy - Male Actor in Supporting Role - Dreamgirls

Jennifer Hudson - Female Actor in Supporting Role - Dreamgirls
With this win, I think Jennifer's Oscar is on lock. Take that, Beyonce - who was a no-show last night. Jealous much?

America Ferrera - Female Actor in a Comedy Series - Ugly Betty

And my favorite winner (and acceptance speech):

Chanda Wilson - Female Actor in Drama Series - Grey's Anatomy

along with the cast of Grey's Anatomy for Ensemble in a Drama Series

I'm mad that Ellen Pompeo seemed to draw a blank on Isaiah Washington even being a member of the cast (is that a sign of things to come?), but Chandra truly set it off in her acceptance speech, with the quote of the evening:

"It's about those 10 cast members sitting over there and the other one in rehab. Y'all just hold me together."

Thank you and goodnight!
